I
I knew I was different,
seeing things in the light.
The stream upon me nascent,
shun primordial senses delight.
II
The miracles are easier to see
With these God given eyes
I see the truth too readily,
others see them in disguise.
III
So, I entered the world of religion,
this promise I made to Him.
Tomorrow the kindly deacon,
My ordination he'll limn.
IV
I kneel to pray so fervently,
cause I still am overwhelmed.
By the grace God has given me,
I'll serve in this mundane realm.

I was caught between two brothers,
Wrapped in intimacy of friends.
Held warm and safe in trust's embrace,

Confusions, thunderous booms, echoing cries,
Blood soaked battlefields, smoking
Zeroed.
The dark wave rolls slowly over me,
Plummeting me way and far too deep.
My eyes shut tight, I see mosaic
But the wave
Always moving, always changing
Drowning in chaos, frantically spinning
Tearing me to pieces, I'm all alone
No one to trust,
