Poetry: Redecorating

by Erin Leger

Created on: April 14, 2009

Walls blur to floor

In stinging eyes squinting

The one you liked so much

And heave it into oblivion

White chips through yellow paint

Remote control mounts itself

To that empty spot on the wall

While rose petals say I'm sorry

To the hardwood you chose
