Poetry: Out West

by Erin Leger

Created on: April 14, 2009

My memories all lie out there

Across a great expanse

Of people, lives

My childhood on another coast

The raining vibrant city

Where I did too many drugs

The sunny little nook

The college I left

Twice

The only friends I ever had

The only life I'd know

Lies on another ocean

In another home
