Yes... the Kitchen is Hell for Gordon Ramsey at the moment...the fact that this married father of four has been caught out having an affair for seven years with author Sarah Symonds means that the latest installment of contestants on his show are paying dearly for just being' there. His aggressive behaviour, swearing and ranting this season has certainly stepped up a few notches and I honestly thought he was going to blow a blood vessel or two on the last episode. It must be time for Sarah (the other woman) to nip back down to the local sex shop for the legal sex drug (amyl nitrate) that she and Gordon are so fond of. His poor devoted wife Tana has been married to him for 12 years, they have three daughters, Megan, Holly and Matilda and a son named Jack together. I feel extremely sorry for his wife having to put on a brave face and defend his honor just because she has a new book coming out and a new segment on a TV show she has to promote, it has to be hard on her even though all the media speculation probably couldn't have come at a better time. This is still celebrity we are talking about and bad publicity is still publicity'.
I must admit I love to watch this show when I catch it on the box. I don't go out of my way to watch it, but should it come on when I'm sitting in front of the television I am definitely glued to it and I do have a good laugh. However I feel incredibly sorry for the new batch of contestants this time around because Gordon is way out of control and he's taking out his personal grievance's on each and every one of them. He is so loud, abrasive, rude and scary that by the time the credits roll I am visibly shaking I am so frightened...it's better than watching a horror movie. I truly thought he was going to hit someone last week, throwing the plate of food at the person really didn't seem enough to appease him. He was inconsolably livid, as red as a tomato and completely poisonous. I don't think it's fair on the contestants to have such venom spat in their faces while he makes them visibly shrink into oblivion just for my viewing pleasure and because of the fact that he 'took pleasure' ..... some how it just doesn't seem right.
Needless to say, I can't wait for this week's installment, maybe the producers will have told him to calm it down at bit or maybe Gordon has found someone new in town and is a little less frustrated. Either way it will be worth watching, especially if one of the contestant chefs learns of his misdeeds and gives it to him straight. Now wouldn't that be fun. Anyway one would think that with all that hot oil and boiling water on set that Mr. Ramsey would be a lot more careful with what he says and what he does.
