And couldn't find my way
You always offered me
A shoulder to cry on
When life beat me down
And tore my hope away
You always offered me

When my heart got broken
And my spirits were crushed
You always offered me
A shoulder to cry on
Now life has you broken
And left without hope
So let me offer you
A shoulder to cry on

Tuck yourself safely underneath my wing

Privileged eyes neither compassionate nor aware
No one sees the devastation
