Reinvention of one's look does not have to be expensive or time consuming. A few simple items and changes in your routine can do wonders for you both physically and mentally.
First, try picking up the latest issue of a fashion magazine. What kind of hairstyles do you see? Are there certain make up trends in there that seem appealing to you? Get some ideas together keeping in mind that no two people look exactly alike, and some styles may not be that flattering on you as on your fave celeb. This will give you some ideas you may not have had for yourself, and give a window into what everyone else is wearing right now.Why not get a trim or try a new colour?
Upgrade your make up collection. You should change your eye make up about once every 6 months at the very most. Why not today? Try a new shade of eye shadow, something you haven't tried before, but will compliment your eyes. New mascara does wonders for your lashes- especially the ones that lengthen and define. Lipstick is usually a tricky one as some people feel bolder is better. Not so- try increasing the intensity by one shade either lighter or darker, or going from a matte finish to a nice playful gloss. If you tend to be someone who over-applies, take this change to go for more neutral tones and shimmers to tone down a harsh look.
A new outfit doesn't mean you have to break the bank. Go down to the mall and take a good walk around. Even a new pair of jeans can change your look and freshen up a worn out fashion sense. There are many cuts available to flatter any shape or size. Shade of denim counts too. You can really brighten up your style by choosing a colour you wouldn't normally wear in a shirt, skirt, blouse or sweater. Match it all up with a cheap pair of flats and you're good to go!
A positive attitude never hurt anyone either. A little change may do you some good!
