Poetry: A shoulder to cry on

The best places in the world are shaped for me,

a stunted little pine that's twisted by the sea

the hot granite rock where water made a bowl

the steep rounded cliff where no winds howl.

.

Shaped as if a mother stood back into the gale,

a shoulder of the world can be the best place to wail,

a shoulder of the earth strong enough to rely on,

earth's shelter like a shoulder to cry upon.

.

If only my heart would never break and make me cry,

my favorite places would be the place that I could sigh.

the shiny green beetle crawling on cedar planks,

the fragile amethyst cracked laid against my flanks.

.

With the soft and lowing wind pushing fluffy clouds away,

I find my words are easier and that I have something to say.

Appreciate the places, the earth has prepare for us

Cry upon her shoulder, let the daffodils have no fuss.
