It's an easy to navigate site, and allows you to look through similar genres of books and movies, opening your eyes to what is available on the market, which you may not have otherwise heard about.

Ever think of a song you used to like? Ever had a spur of the moment yen for listening to music from days gone by? U-Tube is amazing. Not only do you get music of your choice, but you also get neat videos to watch while listening. It's worth keeping this site to favorites simply because of the diversity of the music offered on the site. It is also very handy for looking up new musicians and keeping yourself abreast of the latest musical developments.
For language learning.
The Internet offers a whole range of sites for learning, though one which is useful for language learning is French About.com. This site offers interactive exercises for the learner and encourages them to advance. With quizzes and proficiency tests, this is one of the best French learning sites on the Internet and certainly worthwhile keeping to favorites.
For writing on-line and developing your skills.
Ever thought you had a talent for writing? Helium.com is a great site for people who want to discover just how good they really are. The unique rating system means that your work is marked or ranked by other members, giving you great feedback on how your work measures against others. It's a site with a friendly staff, mentoring service and community forum, which covers every aspect of life and asks you to write factual articles on things you know about.
Of all the writing sites, this one pays better than most and offers members many contests in which they can win weekly prizes which are worth having. Paid in dollars, the contests are a great way to try your hand at writing online.
These sites are all sites worthy of keeping to favorites. The world wide web is huge, though just occasionally a gem appears which makes your life a happier place, or one which is easier to enjoy. The sites mentioned above are all great sites to use and certainly make life easier, even for those with limited computer knowledge. Being without them as an aid to enjoyment is like going to the beach and not even looking at the sea. These are the sites which encourage you to make the most of the Internet and all it offers.
