Internet sites you couldn't live without

It's hard to believe that the Internet has not always been a part of our daily life. Many years ago, we depended upon library services or television to get information. These days, the Internet offers that in the comfort of our own homes, but also offers much more. There are sites which stand out as being amazingly user friendly, and which help all Internet users to enjoy their computer use, and these are the sites which impact their users the most in this present day and age.

For information.

The top website for information would have to be Google. Google has become a part of everyday life and has the answers to all questions on knowledge. The Google page is user friendly, available in many languages and brings information to your desk top with the flick of a button. Google have expanded in many areas, though the Google.com page is still the best place to find out things you need to know. From pet care to gardening tips, typing in a search in the small box in the middle of the page brings you to instant information which equals a trip to the library, and is quicker than traditional ways of seeking information.

For shopping comparisons.

One of the sites which gives a great range of prices available for goods is Price Grabber.com. Easily laid out, the site gives you instant information on competitive prices for all kinds of goods. This site is easy to use and information ranges right through all the different kinds of things which consumers research in order to get the best price. Where can you buy that expensive perfume? Where do they sell shoes? Which computer offers the best value? Price Grabber helps you to make good decisions and that must be worthwhile.

For travel prices.

Travel prices vary greatly and a good site for comparing what different airlines are offering is fare compare.com It's easy and can find comparisons worldwide for your flight needs. Why bother with Expedia when this site makes a search of Expedia prices as well as those of other websites all in one go? If they can't come up with a price, they will suggest other websites to look for those illusive flights which is a bonus, though do remember to have your pop up blocker turned off when pressing the search button.

For books and movies.

For books and movies, no-one beats the choice on Amazon. It's a regular stop and has everything
