Poetry: Puddles

by Kat Oliver

Created on: April 13, 2009

It rained again today and I finally smiled.

Crystal clear droplets of rain fell to earth

and formed perfect little puddles.

I remembered his bare little feet.

They stomped up and down in the water

as he laughed out loud.

My precious little blue-eyed boy.

He sent the rain today from Heaven

to heal my broken heart.

It rained again today and I finally smiled.

Crystal clear droplets of rain fell to earth

and formed perfect little puddles.
