Texting is the new way people are communicating. They are communicating by cell phone or personal computers. It has taken a vast role in communication. We have texted one time or another no matter what age we are. The question becomes, does texting take over the role of communication? I would have to say no.

Texting has opened a completely new opportunity on communication. People are more willing to say what they feel in a text as before texting; people would have kept those certain feelings to themselves. The communication has become easier for most people. It is a piece of freedom within by texting then putting your self out there for everyone to judge.

We all have pieces of ourselves we want to share just do not have the confidence to share and texting gives us that release. In my experience, people were less likely to sit and write a letter compared to a women who can write about any and everything. Im not saying people do not write but it is more likely a girl would take the time to write before a man would. Everyone now a days has texted someone somewhere. Sending pictures, videos and texts. It is fun and entertaining. It does not take away from anything you are doing except driving. You can be out and instead of answering your phone and being impolite to company your with or rejecting a call you can just send a text and no one is feeling less of getting a persons time.

People want to be heard or listened to and we all do not have the same time to do the things that each needs and texting plays a huge role in that. We also have where a relationship is on between two people are fighting and they can text without hearing a rejection. We can also play on the phone without voices of disappointment. Communication has opened many doors by texting. You can be anywhere and text. It has become a huge sensation and I understand the sensation because I am one that loves texting.

Young or old, there is no age requirement with texting. I myself have texted for hours instead of talking. With having children, it is almost impossible having a real phone conversation because I will not be bothered for hours but soon as I get on the phone it becomes extremely loud, frustrating, to talk to another on the phone any mother knows exactly what I am saying. I will never understand why this is but with texting, I can actually have a conversation without worries of not hearing the other person.

In addition, I can still get my conversation done without it being interrupted. Now with cell phones having pre-text where it spells the word as you write it can help our children with some spelling errors. They will help their own spelling errors with repetition. Therefore, as someone who is proudly texting, happy texting.
