Poetry: A gentle touch

by Melissa Gilbert

Created on: April 13, 2009   Last Updated: January 22, 2011

She sat there
and felt his gentle hands
rubbing her back
and washing away the pain.

Hard at work,
she lived in pain
daily.

For a little time
a day,
he made her
forget about
her worries and pains.

He made her live
to her fullest.
