A painful past indeed
Will I ever stop reliving those horrible dreams
Of the beatings and the terrible deeds
Of parents gone so wrong, oh how I would long to be
in someone elses arms.
I step back in time and bleed sometimes and I wonder if
the bleeding ever stopped. Oh yes, this past has left me feeling
so alone sometimes
But overall, I will thrive and will break free from this painful past.
