I look around at all those near me
Shouting out but no one hears me.
I reach out to make them feel me
But they're eyes are sealed and won't see me.
No one knows what I would do
To be accepted just like you.
Instead I lay here and try to undo
All my sins and purge my soul too.
Now as I lay here I slowly die
Haunted by my own lonesome cry.
What is the point to even try
When all I've known is doom and lies?
Now they seem to want to care
When they were needed they weren't there.
They weep and sob that it's not fair
Too little too late, so don't even dare.
So when you see a lonely soul
Keep in mind this tale I've told.
They need some help to fill the hole...
Some people just need a hand to hold.

"This May Not Be Anthologized, But..."
I guess these silly rhymes of mine

Do I write them for posterity?

Mommy
I used to beg you for a hug
but you didn't have the time,
You'd shoo at me to go away
like it was such a crime.
So I would
They notice me now
They see how thin I am.
My hair brittle.
My nails splitting.
Now they know I am alive.
They didn't used

This pit in my stomach, will not subside
hankering for something, to feed this pride
A plate of you, or a big bowl of my invention
by Olivia Kay
People pass by as if I'm invisible,
Not a kind word, not even a glance in my direction,
Racing by, too busy to notice, too
