It's the only way to describe
The feeling
For no reason at all
Or so it seems
The moment comes
Fear
Bubbling up in my chest
Toying with me
Nothing more
I am confused
Wondering what
This is
And what
I am scared of
If that's truly the feeling
That can only be described
In one way
Panic
Emotion is
Just going crazy
What emotion that is
Is where my explanation gets a little fuzzy
My skin is crawling
Like it wants to get away
From my disgrace
Only during
That time of
Panic

In darkness
The moon's silhouette
Shines through tree branches
Casting an eerie glow
This is the place
Where
I saunter homeward with
Confidence in my stride.
Day is waning and night is
Creeping in on me like
A tiger on its prey.

only alone do you believe there are
secret messages written under your skin
and it's poisonous
