It is the easiest thing in the world to do, yet one that causes the most depression besides the lack of money in our society. When it comes to dealing with depressions, stress, loneliness, and just flat out falling on bad times, we as a people resort to bad habits like drugs, alcohol, violence , and over eating. Even though the latter of the four may not be as extreme as the others, it definitely has it's stranglehold on those who cant control it. We all want to be beautiful, desirable, attractive, even sexy in the eyes of the public, our significant others, and those we want to make an impression on. I'll be the first to tell you that being a plus sized individual does not diminish your beauty, inside or out, but if not controlled can have a major impact on your health, and more than likely affect your self esteem.
There are many way's to work on this before it is labeled as obesity. First things first, build up your metabolism. There are many people I talk to and hang with who eat ten times more than I do, yet rarely ever gain a pound. The main reasons for that is they are constantly busy and in motion. At the gym working on their cardio, finding any opportunity to power walk around the neighborhood or at a park, play a sport like basketball, tennis, or any sport that keeps you in constant motion. Go at your own discretion though, you don't want to over exert yourself. You want to pace yourself, starting slow so as to build your metabolism gradually. Something that should be avoided as much as possible is eating then laying down or sitting back, the food is fuel for your tank that needs to be burned consistently. If your past consist of dancing you have a step up on others because that, along with consistent exercise, can help to get your metabolism up-to-date. Finally, what you eat is always a major factor in the rebuilding of your figure. Check the nutritional facts of the dishes you decide to consume so as to be aware of what is going into your body, and to give yourself a clear cut idea as to what type of affect that consumption will have on your body while you workout. Now don't get the misconception, you don't need to be a vegan or vegetarian to accomplish what it is you want from your body, just be discreet and use common sense when feeding your belly. Poultry dishes like chicken and fish can help, as well as cutting down on oil and butter, using just the minimal amount, if any at all.
I know it sounds harsh and ridiculous to have to cut down on everyday habits, but it just might save your life or give you the figure you always wanted. You'll always be beautiful in god's eyes regardless, don't let your weight get the best of you and send you into a deep spiraling depression. Take control, make a difference that puts a smile on your face and takes pressure off your heart. Stay beautiful and stay healthy.
