The early morning is always a hard time for the mind and body to adjust to the day in order to merge and work as one. You hop out of bed, and your steps are woozy. You move to get dressed, and sometimes you end up with your shirt on backwards. You try to say goof morning, and it ends up being orated as a gurgle of sound. You need that morning pick me up to really get yourself awake, and you need one that works.
So what works better as a morning pick me up - coffee, or tea?
Well there are many positives and negatives about each drink. The main thing that they have in common is the fact that they both require hot water. Other then that one mainstream fact, they are two completely separate drinks.
Coffee is a warm, thick, drink that really whacks those eyes into alertness. It is brewed with fresh coffee beans, and can be made with or without milk, (a great aspect for those will allergies to milk). However, coffee is filled with negatives. It is essentially a very processed product - you get the goodness of freshly ground beans into the mix, but it also has high amounts of caffeine, and has additives that are unnatural and bad for the body, (yet so good to warm you on a cold day). Its mixture is filled with unhealthy toxins that effect the blood stream, and bodily function. Coffee is also a product that dyes the teeth with stain, just like tobacco. Over time the stain sticks, and the physical image drops a few points.
Tea on the other hand is a lighter substance that is made from infusions from leaves. The tea leaf comes in white form, or black form, or as a herbal infusion. It has less caffeine then coffee, and when it is made in herbal infusion has next to none - this makes it healthier, and less toxic for the body. Tea can be drunk on its own, or with milk and sugar. On its own it is the most healthy. It has little effect on the teeth, and holds little to no stain depending on the product. Tea is filled with anti-oxidants, and vitamins, which are essential for the body's health, and support its function.
Despite the fact that coffee has the most concentrated form of stimulant caffeine, tea is actually the better wake me up, due to the fact that it is filled with the most vitamins, which give the body a healthy kick, and help it to function properly. Tea antioxidants help the skin, and cleanse the body from within - so each cup is like a health pack in liquid form.
