Absolutely not! Family decisions revolve around what car to invest in?, whether to buy a house or not and if so which house?, because ultimately every decision made by a husband/wife duo is influenced by finances. And finances are known to stab the heart whenever it desires and should be locked up in a TOP SECRET box prohibiting children from looking at them. Children are too naive and cannot comprehend the kind of complicated shades in life that finances can create. Their minds aren't ripe enough for them to understand financial concepts and thus must steer clear of any specs or any calculators. They should let the adults handle all of that.

Now children are still considered vegetables when it comes to making decisions because making a decision is a wholehearted effort. You're not being halfassed when making a decision and people shouldn't see it in this light. Adulthood is all about making decisions, whether it's who to start a relationship with, whether to renew your relationship in the long run, where to shop, whether to take up job X or job Y. Yep, decisions are known to strangle the individual to the fullest capacity. And often it could lead to having anxiety attacks or heart palpitations as you struggle to decide which route to take. And do we wanna put the kids through this? Of course not. They're all cheerful playing with their Nintendo or their hotwheels and they'd probably just wanna keep at that.

Childhood is all about having blissful evenings finishing homework and then playing water tag or sports outside with friends. It should be filled with candy, chocolate, and sodas along with healthier stuff such as brocolli although kids will become fussy about this(will be saved for another article). Saturday mornings are filled with cartoons and then weekends in general are filled with ball games and then pizza. Remember decisions always revolve around finances so why complicate a child's life by getting them involved in matters that are completely trivial for them at their stage?

At the same time there aren't just cons to getting children involved there are also pros. They get to see first hand what's involved in the decision making process. They also get introduced to bills and all of the other goodie grownup stuff and once they reach an older age they feel more prepared in handling these life rigors. They also take part in petty and trivial decisions such as which items to buy at the grocery store, or which TV set the family should purchase. So in a way they are already part timers in the world of adulthood. At the same time, their brains just aren't hardwired to handle difficult decisions and its ramifications such as the types of payments that a new car can bring about.
