Rid your body of toxins the natural way

Sweating is essential to living a healthy life. The human body contains approx. 625 sweat glands per square inch of skin, which adds up to 2.5 million sweat glands on the average person, and every one of them goes to excellent use. The many benefits of sweating include balanced blood PH, cardiovascular health, weight loss, and the release of hazardous toxins.

Toxin Release

The human body works like a sponge, absorbing the toxins it comes into contact with, and then releasing them through sweat glands. Bacteria on the skin are actually responsible for the smell of sweat, which is comprised of about 95% water. Toxins and bodily waste make up for the other 5%. This portion often contains high concentrations of trace elements like nickel and mercury.

Balanced Blood PH

Acidity is measured by PH on a scale of 0-14, and blood PH needs to remain between 7.35 and 7.5. Unbalanced blood PH leads to critical health problems. Toxins are responsible for raising the acidity of blood to dangerous levels. In addition to releasing these toxins, sweat lowers acidity they cause - so much so that the PH level of sweat is usually between 4 and 6.8!

A Healthy Heart

Whenever you sweat, your body is working hard to cool itself down, which benefits the heart. The reasons are simple. Heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate all increase in a process called passive cardiac conditioning. Pulse rates increase by nearly 30% while blood pressure decreases. The heart has to work harder than usual to adjust, making it stronger and healthier.

Calories Burned

Sweating does more than condition your heart and release toxins. It burns calories! The human body burns 0.568 for every gram of sweat it produces. You could easily burn 300 calories just by relaxing in a sauna. You would have to run over two miles to work off that amount! While some weight may be gained back when you rehydrate afterward, the calorie loss will be permanent.

Water Loss

Whether or not you notice, your body is constantly working to discharge inner impurities. Sweat glands release up to one quart of unnoticeable sweat each day. This accounts for approx. ten percent of your regular water loss. Regular exercise and the use of sauna heat can help you get rid of even more toxins naturally. Just be sure to replenish the water by drinking at least 64oz. daily.
