At my desk, here I sit.
So much work to be done.
In my mind daydreams flit
Of summer and of sun.
Hot skin, warmth. Suntan smells.
Colored towels galore.
Boats and shells, seagull yells.
Waves lapping at the shore.
My children play nearby.
Plastic shovels in hand.
Happy, with buckets fly.
Making sculptures of sand.
Satisfied, lounge chair back.
Cool breezes kiss my cheek.
Drowsy-eyed, I lay slack.
My love near, tan and sleek.
Boss...can I go today?
I try his heart to reach.
what can take stress away?
A nice day at the beach!

I want to gather colorful seashells,
hold them
