Have you ever heard of the word hybrid? In biological perspective, hybrid denotes the combination of two or more specific, beneficial criteria in a species. In technological terms, hybrid is the combination of two different technology used in order to develop a more economical and efficient product. This will be a perfect example of the benefits of marrying someone from different races.
The Malay customs have also mentioned that by marrying someone from other races, the children of that particular couple will be charming, beautiful and smart. In my very own opinion, I really believed that people should not only marry someone of their own race, but marrying someone from another race is also acceptable. Firstly, let me get my stance clear. Marrying someone from your own race is not harmful, but I think it will be better to have a wife from another race. Talking about the racial integrity in Malaysia, we can already see how many Malaysians are marrying someone from another race. This has become a common phenomenon in our country. If we think that Malaysia is diverse enough, we should see the scenario in the United States of America.
In America, not only marriage between different ethnics and races is allowed, as they also allow the marriage of the same gender! This might sound a little bit too much, but when it comes to human right, the majority will usually wins. It doesn't really matter if you're black, white, Malay, Chinese or an Indian. If it's love, then let it be.
The statement that love is blind' is still applicable even in our contemporary world. The most important thing in a perfect marriage is the happiness. If marrying a person from a different race will help you to gain your happiness, and most importantly, ensure that the marriage will last longer, why would you give it up? Marrying a person from another race will not be an issue if you have the love and faith in the relationship. Sometimes, people tend to think that by marrying a person from another race, they will have problems in their relationship.
Those irrational matters, such as the family objections, the friends' perspectives and also the restriction from customs, should not be entertained. Anyway, there is always a price for happiness in marriage. So it's not appropriate to expect perfection in the marriage.
Marrying someone from your own race is not unhealthy. But marrying someone from another race is even better. Why do I say so? Imagine two beneficial qualities from two distinct parents. If
