As Valentine's day rapidly approaches, one can't help but think about love. You walk through wal-mart and see the gaudy red, white, and pink stuffed bears..cards..flowers..etc. The cheesy halmark card commercials airing every five minutes. Jewelers are spit shining their counters in merriment of the approaching holiday. Wait..what's that? All over the world lonely, single women are heaving a deep sigh. Hear it? I am one of them. Love..what does it mean? Well, according to good old Mr. Webster..we know what it means. What I want to know is where is the disclaimer at the bottom of this? The "Surgeon General's" warning that should come attached to it? Here's what I think it should say...

*Warning* When feeling the effects of love, do not operate heavy machinery. It may cause sudden heart palpitations, stupidity, dizziness, and extreme nausea. It will also cause you to experience mood swings, depression, jealousy, and sheer panic not normaly exhibited in public. It will break your heart. For some women, side effects include extreme giddiness (also caused by enormous amounts of chocolate) which then sets off a rippling affect of annoyance and irritation from your coworkers and family. For some men, side effects include sudden "life' flashes...not to be confused with "hot flashes"..in which case they will kiss their bachelorhood goodbye.

so..in conclusion..Happy Valentine's Day. Now where's the dang chocolate?
