Poetry: A gentle touch

by Shelly Purucker

Created on: April 11, 2009

Rough hands by work for years let me recall the events with many of tears. The wings that soar in the North wind shores, allow me his voice never more. Please search me in your daily rides with love and pride, follow me through the thick and thin to keep me in the heart of kin.

A belief so true I thought for sure , they'll never find cure. A dying wish for you to lay upon his head only to have him turn instead. Your constant touch of warm pure blood will stay amongst this heart with me , I'll watch again someday you'll see.

If wings that fly with us today keep all thats true of bond you say, I'll never want another cry, fly with me into soaring sky's and feel me in the tides so high.
