No organization should be permitted to make donations directly to politicians or parties. Organizations can leverage tremendous purchasing power, this system is supposed to represent the individual, not a collective. The economic problems that we are currently in are a direct consequence of corporate leveraging.

These organizations used their assets to infect the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of government. If a law was in the way, buy a law maker to change the law, if someone was causing problems buy a team of attorneys to bury the issue. Lastly if all else fails use the system's drones to persecute those that stand in their way, train those that are implementing the process in the courts and law enforcement to accept a process that persecutes the citizen.

This theme should not be restricted to just secular organizations, it should also apply to theocratic organizations, those that embrace Armageddon. These are worse than any "for profit" organization because their mission is not based on worldly goals, they are willing to sacrifice the world for Ascension to God. Wars are started between factions such as Islam and Christianity has returned with the Bush administration. Those that saw opportunity in the assets of the regions in conflict took advantage of the environment, a collusion of profit and faith.

When both the secular and theocratic groups get together and contribute to politicians and their parties, buying the law makers and enforcers the citizen is lost in the shuffle, they are no longer represented. Government is supposed to represent the people not some corporate entity or religious initiative. An example of the results of when the special interests gained control is the last eight years, we had faith based profits. The American image was tarnished with the combination of theft of oil for profit and religious persecution, "infidels", brought on by the purchase of the politician represented by the Bush Administration. If one notices when profits do not work with the Republicans they resort to issues of faith, such as abortion. It is not about death, because they are willing to kill those that do not believe - or - stand in the way of profits.

No organization should write checks directly to American politicians or their parties because of the expectations by these groups. The politicians should be advocates for the citizen not some radical relgious groups or corporate initiatives. Americans have seen the consequences of a "greed is good" allied with the Christian Crusaders philosophy - lets lose it. There is a universe to explore before it comes here and explores us.
