I gave you my heart to treasure,
But you broke it.
Trampled under your drunken feet.
You laughed at the pain you gave.
A great joke it was,
to a drunk like you.
You threw it all away
for a can and some pills.
Smoking crack made you happier,
than I ever did.
How pathetic you are.
A drunken, stoned liar and abuser.
Thinking these vices more important,
than my heart.
Wasting your life,
doing nothing worthwhile.
A long time ago,
I gave you my heart.
I begged you to handle with care,
the love I freely gave.
I paid dearly,
for that gift I gave.
My naive heart,
battered and broken,
crushed and bloody,
beneath your drunken feet.
