Life is a journey and sometimes the road is long and winding.
We go through many deserts and valleys.
We come upon many crossroads in life.
We have to choose our own path.
Sometimes we make a wrong turn and it leads
us down a very difficult road.
Sacrifices have to be made to overcome our mistake.
But sacrifice teaches us to give of ourselves. Giving has great rewards.
It takes the focus off of me and puts it on someone else.
This alone helps us to overcome our own self-centeredness.
It gives us a purpose in life. It makes us thankful for what we have.
God uses these times to show us our blessings
and then He blesses us even more.
You can't outgive God. The more you give the more you will receive.
And not necessarily in monetary rewards.
Life is an adventure from God.
View it as such and always look for the buried treasure along the way.

There seems to be no end
Slowly walking forward
Maybe it's just around the bend
I keep pushing
