I long for the ocean from the depths of my soul.
In my dreams I hear the crash of waves on the white sand and I feel the wind whipping around me.
I awake with my longing increased and find my soul hungry for the feel of the water around my body.
The waves beckon me to come back into their welcoming arms and allow myself to be pulled from the shore.
If I could only smell the salty breeze and feel it kiss my skin I would be able to continue to wait.
Call me home, I will answer, and rush back for I feel as though I fade without the ocean.

hold them
