A change in the seasons brings out a change in all of us, especially when the spring and summer months are upon us. If you're ready to shed your old look and reinvent a whole new you, then consider some of the following ways to go about achieving your revolutionary make over.
See yourself as a complete package. If you don't feel good about yourself, then other people won't either. Before you can reinvent your look, you must first find out what makes you feel and look good. It starts with a twist in self-respect and a dab of self-esteem, and soon your outward appearance begins to show who you are and builds your self confidence to be the person you want to become.
Create change in your environment. Too often we find it hard to stand tall and walk with our heads up when we've got a lot of burdens weighing us down. Try to eliminate the unnecessary burdens in your life, like de-cluttering your home, taking a walk during lunch instead of eating at your desk, or talking to a friend and getting life off your chest. You'll find yourself more relaxed and able to let your free spirit loose.
Closet close out. Toss out the items in your closet you never wear because they've lost their stylish appeal. Pick out new pairs of jeans, the kind with tummy control, which will make you look slimmer and boost your self-respect. You don't have to spend a bundle on new clothes, just eliminate the ones that don't do you justice and flatter your figure.
Brighten your look with a little color. Subtle changes in hair color, make-up, clothing, and accessories can be both inspiring and breathtaking. A dab of color goes a long way. Try red on your nails, pink gloss for your lips, and slip your toes into a pair of yellow high heeled open toed sandals while carrying your zebra striped handbag. Incorporate our favorite colors into your look to accentuate who you are to others.
Make your hair style work for you. If you have always worn your hair the same way, or you're tired of every day ponytails that just won't go away it's time to visit your local salon and talk to a hairdresser. You can add color, style, and feel look like a whole new woman just by visiting a salon. Try something new, part your hair on the opposite side, cut off an inch or two, or add curl and waves to normally straight hair. It's amazing how much a good hair cut can boost your self confidence.
You can pick out one or a couple of ways to reinvent your look. Sometimes, a single change can be revolutionary!
