Poetry: Difficult people

by J.J.Morgan

Created on: April 09, 2009

Listen, don't mean to bother you or nothing
but you've poured your f*%king problems

into my ear long enough and I didn't
sign up for this, girl. So baby

get your smak over there
to the other side

of the plane. And maybe
I won't find your old man

when we land, tell him
the things you been telling me

with your hand, and how you fished
the ice cube from its cup

and supped the long, cool drink
like you was Judas Iscariot

looking into His eyes
and eating like you didn't have

nowhere more important
to go.
