Video game reviews: NBA 2K9 (Xbox 360)

NBA 2K9 for Xbox 360 is one of the best basketball video games I've ever played. The game has a large amount of different features and game play modes, making it more fun to play than some of the competition.

NBA 2K9 was published by 2K sports and was released on October 7th 2008. The cover of the game features Boston Celtics star, Kevin Garnett. This game is of course the next game in the series, coming after NBA 2K8. The game was released for Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The game franchise began in 1999 for Sega Dreamcast. I have played the Sega Dreamcast versions of NBA 2K and NBA 2K1, and they were some of my favorite basketball games of all time. NBA 2K9 was the first time that a NBA basketball game from 2K had been released for the PC gaming experience as well as for console gaming.

After playing NBA 2K9, I would say that it is the best basketball video game currently on the market. Although I am not particularly a fan of 2K sports (especially after they butchered MLB 2K9, even after the two patches to fix the game), I'd say this game is superior to NBA Live 09. The game play features many different modes, including both realistic NBA style play, as well as "street" style play. The NBA style play allows you to play online, play exhibition games with your friends, or create a franchised mode, where you can play as your favorite team and play through the regular season, making trades and more. The street style of playing in this game allows you to go to a "blacktop" court, where you can play common basketball street games, such as the game 21. The game 21 features 3 players that you choose who play 1 on 1 on 1, until someone gets to the score of 21 points. If you are unsure how to play, the game will help you. The street features also has mini games that you can play, such as a dunk contest, where you can dunk over cars and other props, as well as many other types of playing "street". It also features a 3 point shooting contest, to see who can make the most three point shots in a given period of time, where you compete against the computer or against your friends. You can also play against yourself, of course controlling different players throughout the contest.

Overall, I'd say this game is great, and I'd recommend getting it if you are interested in playing a good basketball game. If you are looking to save some money, it might not be a bad idea to get one of the old NBA 2K series, such as NBA 2k6 or NBA 2K7. Often times, there are online roster updates, so you can have the NBA's latest rosters, even with an older game. These can be downloaded either via your computer than transferred via flash drive, or through Xbox Live(Silver or Gold Edition, Silver is the free edition).
