You're looking in the mirror and notice that your face has that dull, winter look. Here it is spring and you want a glowing complexion that radiates health. That's simple enough with just everyday changes you can do yourself without expensive cosmetics or surgery.

First of all exfoliate your entire body with a gentle scrub. Exfoliation takes the dead skin cells we all have on our body, and leaves the newer skin to show through.

An extremely simple way to create a more healthy glow to your skin is to drink plenty of water. Our bodies are mainly water and you need plenty to help keep skin moisturized and supple. Plus water flushes out toxins and chemicals that your body has so it is essential that you drink plenty of water every day for that inner glow, because if your body is healthier on the inside it shows on the outside.

Eat healthy food. This doesn't mean expensive from the health food store kind of grains and wheat's. Just start in the fruit and vegetable section of your local grocery store. Fruits and vegetables are full of antioxidants which are natural chemicals that repair aging and cell-damage. Cell-repair is very important to have a more youthful, glowing appearance. Besides adding a glow to your skin, a diet rich in fruits and veggies can also regulate your body as they are full of fiber naturally and a lot of people find it an easy to shed a couple of pounds without hard-core dieting.

Exercise also brings a natural glow to your skin. Sweating is good for your body by chasing away a lot of toxins.

Lay off the makeup for a day or so to give your face a chance to breathe. Makeup covers up the natural beauty of your face and also traps dirt which covers up your inner skin glow. Makeup shouldn't be used to cover up so much as enhance the real beauty it hides.

Get out and get a little sun. The sun is full of healthy benefits, but don't overdo, because too much sun isn't good for your skin and be sure to wear lots of protection, especially if you tend to easily burn. Burning causes a glow alright, just not a really healthy glow. Plus, it dries out skin and that is not good for a glowing complexion.

Another great way to boost your body's glow is with lots of moisturizing. If you live in an especially cold or dry climate this is essential to your skin. But everyone in every climate gets dry skin and needs moisturizing. Always use moisturizing oils or lotions after showers or before going out into the sun. It also makes skin more supple which helps in the reduction of wrinkles.

Relaxation will help your skin too. Stress causes wrinkles and deep, dry wrinkles do not glow of health and vitality. Sit quietly and read a book or meditate, chasing the stress away for a few hours will revitalize you, making your skin glow with an inner beauty that we all desire.
