Most people would love to find a way to work from their homes. There are many different types of business that you can begin online. Freelancing is a great place to start. Freelancing jobs abound on the internet. You just have to find the ones that are right for you. If you plan it well enough, you can make a decent living from the comfort of your computer chair.

Here are some sites that can help you realize your dream of freelancing online:

Helium.com

If you enjoy writing, Helium is a great place to start your new career. Helium has allowed thousands of people to earn a great deal of extra cash as well as afforded others to work at home. It takes a lot of dedication and skill in order to make this website work for you. This site offers you an opportunity to publish articles based on topics that they provide. There are thousands of titles that allow you to write on nearly any subject that comes to mind. This is the only site that offers automatic publishing and payment for your work.

Associatedcontent.com

This site is much like Helium. There are major differences in how to come up with the subject matter. In this site you must choose the title and subject. The pay is quite different as well. Associated Content offers more varied ways in which they will pay you than Helium. You can earn a bi-weekly income here. Working this site in conjunction with your Helium account can yield you a much larger sum of money from writing one article.

Triond.com

This is an article writing site as well. It isn't as generous as the two previously mentioned sites with the pay scale though. You can, however, post your pictures and other types of work for "click" payment. This site places your work, or parts of it on other sites in order to generate the revenue. You get half of the money that the site makes from posting it there.

Odesk.com

Odesk is a great site for those that wish to expand a little more on their work. There are many jobs available including virtual assistant, editor and writers. You are not paid by Odesk but rather by the clients that post their openings there. You are guaranteed payment but you must be sure that you do all of your work through the Odesk application. You must also pass a test in order to bid on jobs. You will also be required to interview with potential "employers" in order to gain business. If you do your job well, chances of you getting repeat business from those customers is very high.

WAHM.com

This site allows you to bid on different jobs that people post
