How sweet it was as your main attraction.
But now I am an unwanted distraction.
No longer is your love still true.
Oh, but for a time, I was important to you.
Crying in the dark while you lay so near . . .
your heart is somewhere else, I fear.
Locked out of your heart for reasons untold.
Your body is warm but your heart is so cold.
