Hell yes, there is way too much sex on TV!

What's the point in having all of this sex on TV, especially on some of the channels that these shows are coming on. Don't get me wrong, romance is great but sometimes we are bordering on pornography and it's just gross! All of this sex on TV is terrible; it causes arguments in relationships, causes insecurities, causes expectations, causes nothing good! It's a terrible thing, and the more it becomes an acceptable part of our societies way of living, the more it becomes available. Nowadays there is more sex on TV, and it's come on at earlier times during the day. Times when your child could be watching TV. I don't know about you but I don't feel like explaining to my two-year-old just what the people on TV are doing.

I think that we should work together to at least put more censors on programming, or to try and cut out all of the sex and the sexy images that are portrayed in the media. It is unnecessary and it's disgusting. For me, it's also the advertisements for the "Girl's Gone Wild" and things like that. These things are terrible. It makes it awkward for people in a relationship. Changing the channel is always nice, but we shouldn't have to change the channel just because some stupid company wants to advertise porn and want their videos to sell. This is not appropriate. Spike TV often plays these advertisements and I was watching that channel with my brother when he was only ten-years-old. Children are maturing quick enough as it is, why can't we just let them be kids anymore instead of exposing them to naked bodies and sexual images.

Sex is an industry completely on it's own and no matter how many of us try to stop the industry from growing and taking over our TV and our magazines and our Internet pages, it's inevitable that there will always be sex. What we can do in order to try and keep sex off of our TV is to watch DVDs late at night... or watch two shows so that if sexual images are portrayed in a commercial you do not have to feel obligated to sit and watch. You should also try to eliminate channels that have pornography, especially with children you should add security passwords onto certain channels and if you are still outraged start writing to your local TV stations and protesting. The sex industry has already grown too much, the future is scary if it does not start to die down. Let's work together to help make TV something enjoyable again!
