When you wake up in the morning, you greet me with a grin
And when the day is done, a kiss upon the chin
You grab your little brother, and cover him with love
Sweeter than an angel, sent from up above
For everyone you love, you have a gentle touch
And never do those sloppy kisses get to be too much
At the end of your day, your stories are read
Your prayers are said, and you're put into bed
Dreaming, surely, of tomorrow's light
And knowing you're safe in our love tonight.
