Disgusted,
Her natural reflection is too plain,
She complains,
With the uncanny desire
To be known for something
She is not.
She is not
A model,
An actress,
Rather a young girl
Craving attention to cure her
Low self esteem.
Ridiculous as she may appear to others,
She gets self satisfaction
From the hairspray,
The makeup,
And the gaudy accessories she uses
Just to stand out.
She is rabid for attention,
She wants to be known,
Not for who she is,
But what she is.

My hair brittle.
My nails splitting.
Now they know I am alive.
They didn't used
by Jon Coe
This pit in my stomach, will not subside
hankering for something, to feed this pride
A plate of you, or a big bowl of my invention
by Olivia Kay
People pass by as if I'm invisible,
Not a kind word, not even a glance in my direction,
Racing by, too busy to notice, too
