Poetry: Lords & ladies

Lords and ladies

dance in the ballroom

twisting and turning in motion

Their grace and beauty captivate me

So much like the waves of the ocean

In my dreams I see them dancing

in garments of distinction

Unaware that they soon will be

victims of their own extinction

Yet in my dreams they will dance forever

Lords so handsome and each lady a beautiful swan

They will continue to dance in opulent splendor

And their legacy will live on and on
