1. London. London has something for everybody. See the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace (where Prince Charles and Princess Diana lived), Hyde Park, the British and Victoria and Albert Museums, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral (where Charles and Diana were married), the Tower of London (where the Crown Jewels are and where Henry VIII had two of his wives executed), and the Tower of Big Ben. Take a ride on the huge London Eye Ferris wheel. Have fish and chips at a typical English pub. Have the traditional afternoon tea. Dine on Shepherd's Pie or a Ploughman's lunch. Shop at Harrods' or at Fortnam and Mason. Catch the latest West End play or musical. Go shopping on Carnaby street of Swinging 60's fame and see Piccadilly circus. Take a ride on a double-decker bus or on the Tube (the subway in London).
2. Paris. Ah yes! Paris! The City of Light, love, romance, fashion, food, and art. See the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Monmartre, Sacre Coeur, the Louvre (featuring the Mona Lisa), the Paris Opera, and the Arc di Triomphe. Dine in either a sidewalk cafe or at a world-famous restaurant such as the Tour d'Argent. Take a bateau moche cruise along the River Seine.
3. Rome. Rome, the Eternal City. See the Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, and the Coliseum. Have an audience with the Pope. Take a stroll along the Via Veneto, Throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain.
4. Vienna. Vienna, the City of music, waltzes, and decadent desserts. See St. Stephen's Cathedral, Schonnbrun Palace, the Spanish Riding School, the Hapsburg Palace, and the Vienna Opera House; where you can take in a concert of Mozart, Strauss, or Beethoven. Savor a decadently-rich Sachertorte and other Austrian pastries.
5. Salzburg. Salzburg, the city of Mozart and of The Sound of Music. See Mozart's birthplace, and the Mirabell Gardens (where the famous Do-Re-Mi scene was shot). If you're ever there during the summer, you can also go the Salzburg Music Festival.
6. Dubin. Dublin, the capital of Ireland. See the Trinity College with it's Book of Kells. Take in an Irish Pub, take a stroll on O'Connell Street. For nightlife, see an Irish dance show.
7. Venice. Venice, the Queen of the Adriatic and of canals. Take a gondola cruise along the Grand Canal, take a stroll through St. Mark's Square. Have a seafood lunch over in Burano.
8. Lucerne. Lucerne, the Swiss paradise on the lake. See the Lion Monument and it's famous bridge in this lakeside paradise. Treat yourself to some cheese fondue and other Swiss specialties, a yodeling show, and by the special Swiss watch.
9. Nice, Cannes, and Monte Carlo. The triple crown of the French Riviera. Lie on the beach. Take a stroll along the Promenade d'Anglais, If you're ever in Cannes during the annual Film Festival in May, don't forget to keep your eyes out for famous celebrities. See the graves of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace and try to break the bank at the Monte Carlo Casino. Dine on bouillabase and Salade Nicoise.
10. Budapest. The birthplace of the Gabor sisters. See the Houses of Parliament, Fisherman's Bastion, and St. Matthais' Cathedral. Dine on some famous Hungarian goulash, cherry soup, or chicken paprika; and dance the night away to some Hungarian gypsy music.
