You know you can call me at all times of the night with your problems;
A reassuring phone call will provide you with the comfort you need.
Let me listen as you pour out your heart to me;
I won't judge, because you need compassion and not a lecture.
Let the tears flow freely for I want to be there for you;
Telling you I care and I am praying for you.
For my heart is open to all who need to be loved;
A friend who wants to understand your deepest emotions.
When all others turn from you and forsake you,
I want to be the one you turn to for strength and guidance.
My shoulders are sturdy and quite capable of holding you up;
Helping you to face another day with more than enough love to share with you.
