Can a marriage continue without the couple being in love? I am sure there are marriages where couples do not love each other and they're still together.But whom does that benefit. In the long run if one stays with a spouse who they no longer love.In the end it will show.

And who will be the first to see this lack of love? The children will be the first ones to see that mommy and daddy no longer love each other. How does that benefit them? It doesn't! A child's mind is molded by what he are she sees at home.

Is it fair to teach them that two people should stay together. When there is no love to hold the foundation together. What would we be teaching them. Either the child or children will grow up thinking that this is normal. And may find themselves in the same type of marriage. Or the child or children ,refuse when they are grown to even get married.

Staying together no matter what even if your unhappy. I'm sure in these kinds of marriages.There must be countless fights and statements daily and weekly. How each person in this holy union hate each other and continue to voice there thoughts on this lack of love.

And the first ones to hear this is the children. Who eventual may grow up to hate both parents on some level. As well as, who may not even want to get married when they are older.Being totally confused about what marriage is. As well as probably paying some physicist for all the damage done to them as a child.

One must remember. Children love both parents,even if their parents do not love each other. And it hurts the children far more then one may every know. Watching two people whom they adore,hating each other.

Lets even say both parents do not argue in front of the child/children.That these two responsible adults. Do not feel the need to expose their children to the problem of lack of love in the relationship. Do you really think that they cannot feel or sense that mommy and daddy do not love each other.

And even if there are no children. And two people stay together in fear of being a failure ,religion ,or even money. This is damaging to each partner. Lack of love for one another produces chaos in a relationship. Feelings are hurt one is left empty, confused, and lonely.

Marriage is a special union between to people based on love. The whole foundation of marriage is based on love.The first vow is to love one another. Sometimes, even in a loving marriage two people find that they have fallen out of love. Only to find later on that they still love each other.

If you have been with someone for 15 years. Your bound to fall in and out of love.Marriage is not all about smiles, happy days,and blue skies.It's about two people who love one another, becoming one as a unit.Enjoying the good times and bad times. Holding on through whatever may come.

Yet if there is no real true love. There is nothing to hold the marriage together. In the end if two people really love each other that will show as well. So if that is true isn't it logical that a marriage without love. Will show through as well. Affecting all parties involved including the children.
