IN THE STILL OF THE EVENING
This day about to become moments in time now passed
Evening, with promise of flashes in time yet to experience
Those in my reality, mind, heart and imagination
The reality, sleep will soon overcome my body
What awaits me in the depth of my dreams
My faceless man, will you come to me this night
Within your arms , the warmth of a summers day
Like that of the gentle breeze, softly you touch me
Sweet and quiet are the whispers of your love
Your eyes sparkle, like the sun in the blue sky above
Filled with so much life and love all this you give to me
It is mine to share with you, and you ask for nothing of me
You make love to me, without touching me at all
Least not in the physical , yet you've touched my soul
Reaching me where few have ever been, there you remain
In the quiet and still of the evening, I come to you
No reality in the course of the day, reaches me there
Faceless man, this part of me belongs to you
