Eyes wide open,
Wild and free,
A step beyond reality.
Racing thoughts cascade like rain,
Freely down my window pane.
Manic dreams fill my nights,
Upon fate's wings I take flight.
Forget me not when I break free,
From the chains of sanity.
Eyes wide open,
Wild and free,
A step into my wildest dreams.

underfoot, like glass
Horned and hooved,
