The importance of eating fruit and vegetables

Fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs, grains, seeds, bulbs and tubers are very important to every human being. They form the basis of what every living thing, especially human beings, base their survival on. They are natural sources of carbohydrate, protein, facts and minerals which serves as nourishment to the body for every one. Apart from their nourishment role, they are also important for every individual health maintenance.

This article will look into the health impacts of some Fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs, grains, seeds, bulbs and tubers will be highlighted in alphabetical order.

Apples: Apples are good for the heart they protect the heart from sudden heart attacks, they prevent constipation and block diarrhea. They also help in lungs capacity improvement and finally they help in giving joints a cushioning effect.

Apricots: are carcinogenic thus can be very good in combating cancer, they are also good fro high blood pressure control. They help the eye by improving it capacity to see very well and also serve as shield against Alzheimer's disease (a brain disease that causes gradual and irreversible decline in memory). It also helps in slowing the process of aging.

Avocados: Avocados is good for battling diabetes, it could also be used in lowering blood cholesterol level as well as controlling blood pressures, thus helping to prevent strokes. It has also been proven that avocados help in skin smoothening.

Bananas: Apart from being know to help the heart function effectively, it is also known to help in control of blood pressure. It also helps in quieting cough and strengthen the bones. Finally it also known to block diarrhea.

Beans: beans helps prevent constipation basically. It also helps hemorrhoids and lower blood sugar. It is also effective in cholesterol level lowering and also help the body fight against cancer.

Beets: Beets come in many form but I prefer beetroot which is very good in controlling blood pressure and protecting the heart. It also aids weight loss for those who wish to lose weight.

Blueberries: Are good in constipation prevention; they also boost the memory.

Broccoli: strengthens the bone and is also good for eyesights. It aids with visual clarity.

Cabbage: Cabbage are anti-carcinogenic they therefore help combats cancer. They prevent constipation and help in weight loss. They also help in keeping the heart in good shape.

Carrots: helps retain eye sight clarity, It helps prevents constipation and also help the body in combating cancer.
