A gentle touch is all it takes...
To once again feel my heart break
I see you standing at the door...
As you've done so many times before
Asking me to let you in...
To forgive your thoughtless sins...
I know that I should be strong...
That loving you is somehow wrong...
I know that I should make you leave...
As tears fall from my cheek to sleeve...
But once again I let you in...
And once again the dance begins...
A gentle touch is all it takes...
To once again feel my heart break.
