Dissaray, frustration, loneliness pain,
hanging in the wind.
Everyday's a living nightmare
in the sunshine I feel rain,
hanging in the wind.
I don't know where I stand
and don't know if I am wanted,
hanging in the wind.
Even inmates get reprieved
but my closure it gets shunted,
hanging in the wind.
How long can I be cast aside,
How will my heart survive,
hanging in the wind.
My head is just above the water line
as I tread to stay alive,
hanging in the wind.
Maybe soon she'll throw a lifeline
cause it's getting hard to breathe,
hanging in the wind.
Should I keep waiting for her love
or is it time for me to leave,
hanging in the wind.
