We all want balanced lives. The number one way to maintain balance in life is by following a routine. Routine is important to avoid uncertainties and preventable stressers in life.

Begin your day by waking up early in the morning. Feel the quiet and calmness around you. Take deep breaths, and smell the flowers. If you have a green yard, then go there and take a walk. Let your mind wander to pleasant places. Acknowledge yourself, give thanks to yourself for everything you do for yourself and others. Thank the Lord. Make yourself a drink, sit down and read, or just get ready for the day.

Meditation for atleast 10 minutes after yoga in the morning helps a great deal with gaining balance in life. Yoga helps not only with mind and body, it also helps with spirituality. Yoga excercises are known to cure several health problems like obesity, hypertension, heart disease, breathing problems, scoliosis, and depression. It also improves concentration and balance in life.

Drink 2-3 glasses of water first thing in the morning, and wait atleast one hour before you drink anything else. Drinking fresh water helps the body in flushing out all the toxic wastes out of the body, and you feel healthier.

Maintain a fixed daily routine for the kids. Daily routines are very helpful in raising healthy, obedient, and well desciplined children. Having set routinr for family meals, homework time, sports time, and TV time can help build a balance in life, because everyone knows what is coming next, or what the expectations are. This prevents unnecessary hassles and anxiety in life. Life seems more predictable and less uncertain; the unknown and uncertain component of life provokes fear and imbalance in life.

Be organized at work. Work smarter not harder. It is well documented that people who are desciplined and focused perform much better and at faster rate than their peers. These people always seem calm and composed, and always appear to rise the corporate ladder without working too hard. The truth is that their descipline and organizational skills help them in meeting deadlines all the time. Because they are organized, they are calmer, more focused and appear less hurried. They even find time to help others, and that is why they ride the corporate ladder faster. Their life is balanced at work because of their great work ethics.

Always make a to-do-list with a goal to accomplish as much as you can in an efficient way, not with a goal to do all that is on the list. this will help you in maintaining
