Should we celebrate Easter

Has a practicing christen YES, I THINK THAT we should celebrate Easter. I think we should celebrate Easter because it is the time of our Lord and Saviours Resurrection. He died for us to save his children from their sins and to give all of us eternal life.

I think that Easter is a lot more than coloring eggs and going on Easter egg hunts,  next to Christmas, I think that Easter is the next important holiday that we should celebrate.

The reason that I think it is important to also celebrate Christmas, is because we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. It is just has important to celebrate his death and resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Jesus was crucified on what we call Good Friday. One the third day he was raised from the dead by God. This happening on a Sunday which is why it it refereed to has Easter Sunday.

I also think that we should not only celebrate Easter with parades, but buy going to church every Sunday of our lives. Not just on holidays and holy days.

Easter is much more then stuffing our faces with chocolate covered rabbits and other treats. Easter should also be a time when we look back on our own lives. And to remember the things that we have accomplished.

Anther important reason that I think we should celebrate Easter is that we should also think of the things that we have done that we should have in the first place.

And by doing this, we should feel remorse for our sins and to take the opportunity to go to confession to confess them to Jesus.

I also think we should always remember what Saint John wrote in his gospel chapter 3 verse 16 when he wrote these words.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, so that everyone who believes in him shall not parish, but may have everlasting life.

For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but the world might be saved through him.

I also think that people of all faiths should be forever grateful to God to creating our world. And to also give him praise for creating all of us. And to also be grateful for all of the things that he gave to us. For God is the only reason that we exist.

God did not only create the world, and his children, he also created the mountains, hills, the trees, and rivers, and the streams.

He gave us so many gifts that we should be thankful to him not only on Easter Sunday and Christmas Day, put everyday of our lives, seven days a week 365 days a year.

24 hours a day.
