My lover and friend, that's what you are.
So near to me, but yet, so far.
When I see you,my footsteps are light
How can they say it's wrong, when it feels so right.
The beauty of your face, the touch of your kiss,
Your warm embrace, I never want to miss.
You bring love and laughter to my life,
Even in the midst of turmoil and strife.
We are both reckless and free,
Somehow, I think, it was meant to be.
You have made my heart love again.
You're not just my lover, you're also my friend.
So lay beside me and hold me tight,
It's not wrong when it feels so right.
I love you so much, you're the air that I breathe,
You, my lover and friend, are all that I need.

Of a night soon to be ours
Gratification of our
