TV show reviews: Bratz

The TV show Bratz, at first look, might not seem like an appropriate TV show to have one's child grow up with. However, only a lazy parent judges what's right or wrong for their child without truly looking deeper into the matter, for if one truly studies Bratz and evaluates the values and messages sent from it to our children, one will come to realize that Bratz is the ultimate educational experience for our young ones.

Black, white, young, or old, we all live in the same world, and we all live in relativity to one another. Therefore it should make sense that there be an ultimate truth to this world that we all live in. It is my opinion that Bratz embodies that truthful world that we live in constantly. Yes, some could argue that Bratz is a little too truthful for its target audience, however consider this: many studies have proven that lying to kids at a young age makes them vulnerable to the life that they will be exposed to throughout the rest of their existence. Take Santa Claus for instance, an imaginary character presented to children at a young age to create a false, magical environment representing a specific day. Parents who introduce their children to Santa Claus are often setting themselves up to be irresponsible parents, as their children will inevitably one day discover that Santa Claus does not exist and subconsciously concur that their parents mislead them. The same goes for most TV shows that are supposedly educational for kids; inevitably they show them a world that isn't real. Bratz on the other hand shows our children the world as it truly is, and while it may seem to be a negative thing at first, in the long run, its effects will be positive. Take for instance these following values that are represented within the show Bratz:
1) Attractive people use their looks to get what they want.
2) Girls will sometimes use their sex appeal to deceive others.
3) Some sort of violence is sometimes the answer.
Now can anyone say that these three elements that are shown in Bratz do not apply to real life? I don't think so. They are facts of life and have been since the dawn of human kind. So why would it be wrong for our kids to understand these facts at a young age?
The latter is a rather complicated question, however it does have a fairly simple answer. Take Barbie; she was nice and clean, always proper, and when she was created, she reflected the truths of her time; truths that were undisputedly influenced by religion. These truths
