Alone and rejected once more, I sit reflecting on the images of my life!
Countless times have I offered my heart, only to see it tossed upon the trash heap!
I risk because I'm searching, seeking for my kindred heart!
I have often felt a glimmer of hope, as some would tease with faint praise!
But the reality of it all, to them my heart seems a toy!
A trinket to play with, a brief distraction for their life!
I am an amusement, like a clown in a circus!
Over and Over I give my all, and time after time feel the sting of rejection!
But I keep trying, seeking, longing, hoping to find that special confidant!
I sit alone, reflecting on life, while to others, my heart seems a toy!

But now I am an unwanted distraction.
No longer is your love still true.
Oh, but
